Customer reviewsGood for what it is.
It took 8 screws and a few minutes to assemble. It is easy to slide on non carpeted floors. A strong or young person would have no trouble lifting this. An older person may have trouble and a child could not lift it. I thin it weighs about 35 pounds. The seat is hard compared to some chairs but not hard as wood. The back part is comfortable and padded so it does not cut into the backbone. There is no smell. The cloth is not real smooth. It is a bit coarse, but not uncomfortable. It goes from chair to bed in nothing flat. There is a button you have to push to close the feet behind the top of the chair. To open the feet you have to unzip the cover and pull them out until they click into place. In chair format the chair should work fine for me. In bed mode it may be a bit low because of my knee surgery. But I did not buy it to be a bed for me. As a bed it is 22" wide and that is the width of my self-inflating camping mattresses. That has been wide enough for me to sleep on in the past. One could easily place the self-inflating mattress on top is one wanted it less hard. Some people have placed 1" egg carton foam on it. This is the hardness my wife loves but she likes hard beds. I prefer softer ones but I feel I could sleep on this bed. My only problem may be getting up from 10" off the floor, but on the other hand. It is stiff enough that it would not cave in as I tried to get up. This is exactly what happens with me and it as a chair. It is lower than my soft chair but easier to get out of because of its firmness. I do not see any differences between this chair and the ones selling for 30 more.
