No burping or aftertaste. I gave Garlicin three stars only because of the extra ingredients such as titanium dioxide color and ammonium hydroxide which I do not understand why the company adds to the supplement. I m usually a label reader but somehow I didn t take the time to read and look up each ingredient. Garlic lowers bad cholesterol so I wanted to give this a try. I have tried garlic pills in the past but they have bothered me to a point I usually stop taking them. This brand is different. I take one pill with my breakfast and one with dinner. There is no aftertaste or burping and I have been taking it on a regular basis for a little over one month. The label lists that there is an enteric-coating so that the pill disintegrates in the intestine so this is why no aftertaste. It also states not to crush or chew the product. One day my husband asked if I was taking a supplement that contained garlic he said my breath smells like garlic. Now I am torn because I feel that I need garlic to help lower my cholesterol but I don t want my husband to be turned off by smelling garlic whenever I am with him. Since I still have pills leftover, I am still planning to continue taking them as I hate to waste money. If the other ingredients do not bother you, then I would highly recommend this product.
