I don t love the strong, bittersweet, earthy taste of this organic Astragalus Root. It s certainly not a taste everyone will enjoy, however, the benefits of this calming adaptogen greatly outweigh any negatives. I usually use only a small amount for every herbal infusion or teabag, whereas I usually use more of herbal flowers and leaves. Oftentimes for thick bark, a decoction seems to work the best, bringing out the medicinal properties as it heats over time.
